Made by Glafey Lichte, imported from Germany. One tin contains 1 floating cork, and approximately 50 wicks.
The instructions on the packet advise to use a votive glass, fill about a third of the glass with water, then fill in a little vegetable oil*. The oil will sit above the water, and the floating cork sits on top of the oil. One of the little wicks goes on top of the cork, with the wick touching the oil.
* Oil selection: Not Parafin or lamp oil. Low quality olive oil is the best. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not as effective. Other vegetable oils will also work.
Take the cork out of the oil when not in use. Clean with very hot water from the kettle if it stops floating.
