Hand rolled by the sisters of St Elizabeth’s Skete, in the countryside of New York State. The method is very different from our other incense blends. The sisters start with high grade pure frankincense, ground it to a powder, mix it with perfume, then roll it together. When it burns, the space fills with the perfume without any acrid or unpleasant smokiness. We highly recommend this precious incense for special occasions.
Byzantium is highly fragrant, sweet and light fragrance. It is very strong, so we recommend it’s use only on special feasts.
